The Day Skipper theory course is a wonderful introduction to navigation for skippers and is suitable for beginners.

This course provides you with fantastic knowledge of navigation, chart work, passage planning, weather, tides, collision regulations, safety and much more. It is also ideal for preparing you for Yacht Master.

The RYA are continually updating the course to accommodate developments in technology and the electronic navigation aids now available on most cruising boats.

This enjoyable course is taught over 40 hours with two exam papers. It can be covered over a one-week period, short sessions or distant learning so just let us know what suits you best.
