A unique way to see Hilbre islands from the water, we offer this safari all year round. Our skippers are your guide to the waters around this area. The islands are situated at the mouth of the Dee estuary. The Dee estuary is one of the ten most important in Europe for overwintering wildfowl and waders. The twice yearly migration is breath taking. There are grey seals swimming near Hilbre Islands. Once the public leave and the tide returns the seals come ashore.
This safari departs from either Monks ferry slipway or New Brighton slipway. Scheduled trips can be seen via our website timetable. Tickets can be purchased by calling the office and can be used within 6 months. This will be a 6 hour experience. The cost is £70 per person.
