Wirral Borough Council has a permit system in place for all vehicles and powered craft launching and recovering on Wirral's slipways.
Safe Water Training are the approved agents of the council and are responsible for the issuing of all launch and recovery permits.
Slipway users are required to complete an application form and produce their original certificate of competence, certificate of craft Insurance, certificate of vehicle insurance, proof of club membership and photographs.
Please note that permit applications will not be processed unless all of the above documentation is provided at the time of application.
Permits are available in person from or office or by post from Safe Water Training, 68 Victoria Parade, New Brighton, Wirral, CH45 2PH.
Postal applicants are required to forward all original documents with their application and enclose a stamp addressed envelope with the required fee before their permit will be issued. Please make cheques payable to Wirral Borough Council.

Club member permits - Fishing / powerboat - £65.00
Day permit - Any powered craft - £20.00
